Double-hung Windows

The classic look and style of our double-hung range makes this timeless window one of the most popular choices for up market homes and often feature in houses based on the Hamptons style.

Overview

Sometimes this style has the appearance of multiple wood-trimmed panes in a larger window, creating a more traditional look like French doors or windows. This is known as x over. (x being the number of smaller windows in the top half).

Top and bottom sashes move on silk smooth spring channels allowing independent movement and efficient air circulation.

These windows are highly versatile due to their flexibility in how you can set the windows to optimise air flow and also deflect rain.

Double hung windows open and close without protuding, making them an excellent choice for rooms facing walkways, verandahs and the like.

Exclusive to Eden Made are double-hung tilt windows that have sashes that tilt inward to enable easy cleaning of the exterior glass.
