Quality and good looks are the most obvious features of our timber sliding door range, which has been one of the longest serving door types in Australia.

Overview

At Eden Made we use heavy-duty ball bearing rollers on solid bronze horizontal tracks at head and sill for smooth operation.

A sliding door can be designed for either a right-hand or left-hand operation. While hinged doors open inward or outward, sliding doors do not require swing room and can accommodate tight-fitted spaces. This makes them an ideal choice for smaller rooms where you want to let in as much light while providing access to outside. For this reason they are often a popular choice for laundries or bedrooms.

Larger sliding doors can be used in living rooms where due to furniture or prevailing breezes, you do not want to fully open a glass wall but still want to provide optimum light. Options are available to have the door slide external to the room, out of sight of the inside room, creating more expansive outlooks.
