Our Values

At Eden Made there are six key values that define who we are as individuals and how we operate collectively.

1. Quality

Creating quality timber pieces and delivering quality service is what we want to be known for. That quality comes from having an eye for design, a skill for craftsmanship, being an expert in timber and its properties, having vast product usability knowledge and exceeding Australian standards.

We are one of a few companies in Queensland that meet (in fact exceed) Australian standard for WERS (Wind Energy Rating Scheme) for water, heat, solar, energy and performance

2. Communication

Developing positive working relationships, keeping people in the loop and not dropping the ball, and enabling people to be part of their creative process is important to us. It all comes down to clear and regular communication with ourselves and our clients.

We pride ourselves on having a very personable and engaging approach with all.

3. Integrity

We are professionals working with some of Queensland’s most awarded architects and builders. Being reliable and accountable has helped us get to where we are today.

Importantly, ours is a respectful business where women and people from diverse backgrounds are welcome and will feel comfortable.

4. The Environment

We treasure the planet we live on and recognise its resources are finite. We source sustainable, plantation-produced timber and seek to maximise every piece of timber at Eden Made. This includes ensuring our offcuts and sawdust are put to practical uses.

By visiting our showroom you’ll discover the importance of nature and the environment to us.

5. Innovation

From the beginning, innovation has been a hallmark of our business. We were the first window company in Australia to introduce a new Norwegian modified window, suitable for Australian climate that could flip the window while in place to simplifying cleaning of the exterior pane.

We were the first company in Brisbane to introduce computer-programmed Italian 3D machinery to ensure greater precision and more options for customising door designs. We continue to look to the best in world innovations and how they may be adopted and modified for optimal use in Australia.

6. Family

Family is at the heart of what we do. We create beautiful timber designs for people’s homes where they forge strong relationships and lasting memories with their families.

And while our staff love their work, they love their families more. Harvey, our Hungarian Vizsla, is a great asset to our team, reminding us to take a break and step outside. We strive for work life balance. Grant is a father of 4 and leaves early most Tuesday afternoons to coach Kids Rugby.

We will not use a piece of timber that we would not want in our own homes.
